However, in reality, the opposite is true. Rice helps you gain weight and in turn, you are completely the opposite of what you want.
Another reason why rice is not that healthy is because it can clog up your blood vessels. Because rice contains a lot of carbohydrates, it can generate more and more fat in the blood vessels and make them smaller and smaller and in the end, clogging them up. Clogging up your blood vessels can lead to deadly circumstances. Therefore, it is important that you do not over eat rice.
The third reasons why rice is not as healthy as compared to other foods is that it is a chewier substance. And chewier substances are harder to digest for your body because it is harder to break down. As a result, you decrease your metabolism and slow digestion can lead to many problems involving the heart. And you don’t want to to have those diseases right? So avoid eating too much rice.

Rice does contain many benefits such as for your brain and skeletal structure. Avoid eating white rice and try brown rice which will be much healthier. All in all, rice has its benefits and downfalls.
